DAKOTA COMMUNICATIONS, LTD. is selling Classic Hits KXLG/MILBANK, SD to ROBERT FAEHN, DEAN SORENSON, and DUANE D. BUTT's TMRG BROADCASTING, LLC for $500,000 less $100,000 already paid for an option on the station in 2009. BUTT is a principal and 50% owner of the seller and holds 30% of the buyer.
In other filings with the FCC, ARCH W. WATSON, JR. and THOMAS M. LADD are selling their 80% and 20% interests in DIAMOND MEDIA, LLC, licensee of Sports KHOM (ESPN WEST PLAINS 100.9 FM)/SALEM, AR and Talk KBMV-F (THE POINT 107.1 FN)/BIRCH TREE, MO to BOOMERANG MEDIA, LLC, headed by the stations' former owners FRED and BARBARA WHITE and MARK VAIL, for satisfaction of a promissory note in the amount of $254,344. The deal also includes an LMA to program the stations before closing. The WHITES' THREE RIVERS COMMUNICATIONS sold the stations to DIAMOND for $965,000 in 2011. FRED WHITE is the Director-Broadcast Services for the KANSAS CITY ROYALS.
BETHESDA CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING is selling FM translator W286BC/MARQUETTE, MI to GREAT LAKES RADIO, INC. for $25,000.
And PROCTOR-WILLIAMS, INC. has filed for a Silent STA for KSET/LUMBERTON, TX due to financial difficulties.
