NAB Shuffles Radio Board

At the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS' Joint Board Meeting, Joint Board Chairman PAUL KARPOWICZ announced changes on the Radio Board.
Current members HUBBARD RADIO SRVP Market Manager/WASHINGTON Market JOEL OXLEY; EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS Pres./Programming RICK CUMMINGS; BUTTE BROADCASTING KBOW-A/KOPR/KGLM/KANA-A Pres./GM RONALD DAVIS; and KRVN-A GM ERIC BROWN are rotating off the NAB Board.
The Radio Board also heard an update from CTO KEVIN GAGE on the AM Engineering Study conducted with HAMMETT AND EDISON and the FASTROAD initiative on HD RADIO. And SVP Corporate Counsel BART STRINGHAM briefed the Radio Board on the MISSION ABSTRACT DATA patent infringement case and told the Board to contact him if they get a letter seeking licensing fees from the company, which is asserting patents on radio software.
