THE NEW YORK POST is reporting that "SIMON COWELL is offering BEYONCÉ KNOWLES $100 million a year -- easily the highest salary on TV -- to become a full-time judge on 'THE X FACTOR,' according to reports."

Earlier this week (NET NEWS 1/31), reportedly upset with the less-than-expected ratings success of THE X FACTOR, COWELL did more than make "tweaks" to the show -- he cleaned house, by not renewing the contracts of fellow judges PAULA ABDUL and NICOLE SCHERZINGER, as well as host STEVE JONES.

EPIC Chairman/CEO ANTONIO L.A. REID remains in place.

Would BEYONCÉ put concerts on hold for TV? The report claims BEYONCÉ would like to stop touring and stay in one place for her new baby's first few years.

MARIAH CAREY has also been rumored as a target for the revamped show.
