COUNTRY-WIDE BROADCASTERS, INC. is selling WFXY-A/MIDDLESBORO, KY to PENELOPE, INC. for $45,000.

MONTPELIER BROADCASTING, INC. has applied for Silent STAs for FM translators W242BS/KEELER BAY, VT and W252CJ/WESTFORD, VT, which are moving to a new site.

FRIENDS OF PUBLIC RADIO, INC. has applied for an extension of its Silent STA for FM translator W255BZ/MYRTLE BEACH, SC as it continues to try to find a new site for the station.

And in the wake of selling the station, THE REED INSTITUTE has informed the Commission that it has taken noncommercial Variety KRRC/PORTLAND dark while a new frequency is sought for the station, which is being displaced by the move of CUMULUS Alternative KNRQ/ALOHA, OR into PORTLAND on the same frequency.
