Delilah Wants To 'Feed The Children'

PREMIERE syndicated host DELILAH has set a goal this year to providing food and essentials to 50,000 children and their families across the nation, in partnership with hunger relief organization FEED THE CHILDREN. She will ask listeners on her more than 200 affiliate stations to help her provide food and essentials throughout the year.
"If you have spent a single night with me in the studio, you would hear the calls I receive from mothers who struggle to make ends meet and have to make a decision between paying rent or buying food for their family," DELILAH said. "FEED THE CHILDREN helps feed families across the nation every day. The organization will be the arms and legs to help reach families who need our help."
FEED THE CHILDREN, which has served more than 325,000 American families in the past two years, works with community-based agencies to deliver food and essentials, including personal care items, to families. A $20 donation helps to feed a child for a month.
"With DELILAH’s love for children and her philanthropic background, we cannot think of a better advocate for the children," said TONY SELLARS of FEED THE CHILDREN. "Our hope is that her listeners will be inspired to join the fight against child hunger, which is now in everyone’s backyard."
