Julian Davis Retires From Arbitron

JULIAN DAVIS, who has spent twenty-two years in various roles at ARBITRON, is retiring. DAVIS began as a Jr. Account Executive in DALLAS in 1989, where he serviced ARBITRON clients in the SOUTHWEST region for five years. He was then promoted to Sr. Account Executive and was a seven-time President’s Club awardee. DAVIS moved to ATLANTA in 1994 where he was named Dir. Urban Radio in 1998. DAVIS created the popular Urban PD Clinic, Urban Sales Clinic and developed The Black Consumer Study.
CLARA CARNEIRO, ARBITRON’s VP/Multicultural Marketing said, “I have appreciated the opportunity to serve as JULIAN’s manager for the past four years and on behalf of the company I wish to thank him for the many years of dedicated service to ARBITRON and our customers.”
DAVIS added, “Working at ARBITRON for the last 22 years has provided a great learning experience. Now, I am open to new opportunities within the entertainment industry. In addition to my ARBITRON experience, I am a veteran concert promoter, stage, event and road manager. I am also available to do voice-over work and I have a renewed interest in the movie business.”
