Stars & Strikes Celebrity Bowling/Poker Tournament Returns

Wednesday, March 14!

The 6th Annual STARS & STRIKES CELEBRITY BOWLING AND POKER TOURNAMENT is set for WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14 at 7p.  The yearly all-ages event is a fundraiser for A PLACE CALLED HOME, an organization which raises funds and awareness to support inner-city youth through programs in education, the arts, nutrition, fitness and college preparation.

Previous years' supporters have included artists CEE-LO GREEN, MILEY CYRUS, PETE WENTZ, RYAN TEDDER, JASON DERULO, CODY SIMPSON, BENJI AND JOEL MADDEN, actors MARK WAHLBERG, JONAH HILL, WILMER VALDERAMA, VERNE TROYNER, director/actor PENNY MARSHALL and many more.

The event will take place at PINZ BOWLING & ENTERTAINMENT CENTER, 12655 Ventura Blvd, STUDIO CITY, CA.

"It's one of the most fun nights of the year and a great opportunity for a lot of music industry peeps to get together to make a huge difference in the community," says JULIE PILAT, PD at CLEAR CHANNEL Alternative KYSR and APD/MD for Top 40 KIIS (KISS-FM), adding "This year it's going to fall on the first day of SXSW.   If you can't come, we would love help and ideas on raffle prizes, finding poker players, or any support you can give."
