Country Radio Broadcasters Hands Out Humanitarian Awards

On the opening day of CRS 2012 (2/22), COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS handed out its artist, radio and CRS HUMANITARIAN AWARDS during a ceremony inside the NASHVILLE CONVENTION CENTER.
The 2012 “CRB Artist Humanitarian Award” was presented to BIG MACHINE group RASCAL FLATTS for their ongoing charitable efforts. In 2010, the group donated $3 million to the MONROE CARELL JR. CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL AT VANDERBILT's PEDIATRIC SURGERY CENTER.
The 2012 “CRB Radio Humanitarian Award" winners were EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS Country WLHK/INDIANAPOLIS, IN for Large Market, CUMULUS Country WIVK/KNOXVILLE, TN for Medium Market and IDA-VEND COMPANY, INC. Country KMOK/LEWISTON, ID for Small Market. CRS President MIKE CULOTTA and RADIO INK’s LOIS CHOOLIJAN presented the awards.
