It truly is the end of era, as DITTMAN BROADCASTING Top 40 WABB-F/MOBILE, AL signs off as a Top 40 station after being sold to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for an undisclosed price. The station has been in the DITTMAN family's hands for 52 years.
Many of radio's major talents and programmers launched their careers at WABB, including MIKE MCVAY, SCOTT SHANNON, RANDY LANE, LESLIE FRAM, MARK ST. JOHN, PAUL FULLER, BILL EVANS, LEE CHESNUT and many more.
