FCC Cancels Texas AM's License ... Again
March 5, 2012 at 5:35 PM (PT)
The FCC has cancelled JERRY RUSSELL d/b/a THE RUSSELL COMPANY's license for silent KOFY-A/GILMER, TX.
The station's license was renewed in NOVEMBER 2010, but put on a "red light" hold due to failure to pay the regulatory fee, the application filing fee, and a late-fee penalty payment. The Commission cancelled the license and deleted the calls in a letter sent on FEBRUARY 29th; the license and call sign were previously deleted in 2005 and reinstated with the 2010 license renewal.
