ENTRAVISION COMMUNICATION reported a 1% loss in overall revenue to $49.9 million in Q4 2011, with Radio taking the biggest hit, falling 6% to $15.8 million. The hit on Radio was attributed to a decrease in political advertising.
For the entire 2011, net revenue fell 3% to $194 million. The company noted that Of the overall decrease, $5 million of the overall decrease "came from our radio segment and was primarily attributable to the non-occurrence of advertising revenue from THE WORLD CUP in 2011 compared to 2010 and a decrease in political advertising revenue, which is not material in 2011."
