ACM Announces ACM Experience Performers And March My Cause Theme

ACM Plans ACM Experience

The ACM EXPERIENCE, a free three-day open-to-the public Country music lifestyle event for fans during the week of the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in LAS VEGAS has announced performers. THOMAS RHETT, GREG BATES, EDENS EDGE, IRA DEAN, ANDY GIBSON and KIP MOORE are among those playing for the ACM EXPERIENCE on FRIDAY, MARCH 30th. The SATURDAY, MARCH 31st lineup includes MAGGIE ROSE, SONIA LEIGH, DARREN WARRREN, MALLARY HOPE, STEEL MAGNOLIA, THE DIRT DRIFTERS and GLORIANA. CANAAN SMITH, MORGAN FRAZIER, BLACKBERRY SMOKE, CHRIS JANSON, LEVI LOWREY, DAVID ST. ROMAIN and the LOCASH COWBOYS are among those playing on SUNDAY, APRIL 1st, which will also feature the BATTLE OF THE BANDS finalist for PBR and CLEAR CHANNEL Country KWNR/LAS VEGAS.

All the ACM EXPERIENCE events take place at the MANDALAY BAY RESORT & CASINO in LAS VEGAS. The events will culminate in the ACM FAN JAM a ticketed event hosted by ZAC BROWN BAND, on SUNDAY, APRIL 1st. The ACM FAN JAM is part of the 47th Annual ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, which are broadcast live from LAS VEGAS on APRIL 1st at 8p (ET/PT) on CBS-TV. 

The ACM has also announced the release of the ACM AWARDS SPOTLIGHT ‘ZINEPAK, a limited-edition CD which is paired with a 120-page magazine. It also includes a ballot with this year’s ACM AWARDS nominees and a collectible ACM magnet. The ‘ZINEPAK is available at WALMART stores nationwide and WALMART.COM on MARCH 20th for $7.

In other ACM news, ACM LIFTING LIVES has announced that the MARCH theme for its monthly “MY CAUSE” web feature is “AMERICAN RED CROSS.” The web feature drives awareness of artist-supported charitable organizations and supports fundraising efforts for those philanthropies. 

Over the past two years, ACM LIFTING LIVES has donated more than $44,000 to artists’ favorite charities through this program, and will again make donations in addition to driving fan awareness. This month, “MY CAUSE: AMERICAN RED CROSS” is highlighting the organization that provides support to victims of disasters with help from RCA/NASHVILLE artist SARA EVANS.
