A former XM SATELLITE RADIO has pleaded guilty to helping embezzle more than $900,000. WJLA-TV reports "VALENCIA PERSON pleaded guilty in WASHINGTON's federal court on FRIDAY to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud."

In JANUARY (NET NEWS 1/9), another employee, BRENDA L. JONES, pleaded guilty in federal court to one count conspiracy to commit wire fraud in the theft of more than $900,000. Prior to the merger of SIRIUS and XM, JONES was hired as an administrator in the accounts payable department in XM's D.C. headquarters.

Sentencing is set for JUNE 8th.
