UNIVERSAL REPUBLIC has promoted A&R executive TOM MACKAY to EVP. He has been at UNIVERSAL REPUBLIC since the label's inception and served as EVP/A&R for UNIVERSAL REPUBLIC since 2009.
"In these past three years, TOM has worked tirelessly on every aspect of the label's business," UNIVERSAL REPUBLIC Pres./CEO MONTE LIPMAN and Co-Pres./COO AVERY LIPMAN said. "He remains incredibly devoted to each act on our roster, and his devotion has proved infectious across the company. Not only has he built an exceptional A&R team, but he's also pushed the entire company forward by working on innovative film and television projects that have expanded our collective influence immensely."
"It's an absolute honor to continue to work with MONTE, AVERY and the entire team at the label," MACKAY noted. "This is a very special label. It's a place where the music remains the most important thing. I'm looking forward to being personally hands-on with every artist on the label as well as seeking out new opportunities and partnerships for the company."
