SPANISH BROADCASTING SYSTEM's interactive division, SBS INTERACTIVE, has entered into an agreement with ZOOMRADAR to provide Hispanic users with real-time weather content on all 17 radio station websites and national portals, including www.mega.tv and www.lamusica.com.
SBS’ INTERACTIVE users can access six-day forecasts in their metro area as well as use ZOOMRADAR’s exclusive hyper-local interactive weather map. "Our goal is to continue offering our Hispanic users a variety of content," SBS INTERACTIVE VP/Digital Sales ANDREW POLSKY said. "Weather is an important part of our daily lives and the everyday weather enthusiast will love engaging with the ZOOMRADAR tool. We're very pleased to be able to offer our users the most comprehensive weather service available online. SBS’ decision to undertake this project with ZOOMRADAR not only affirms our position as one of the leading online Portals, but additionally provides unique and focused content and information, so that our global audience may better plan their lives and daily activities."
"ZOOMRADAR is thrilled at the opportunity to partner with SBS INTERACTIVE in expanding our offerings to the vast Spanish speaking audience," ZOOMRADAR Pres. JEFF BERARDELLI said. "ZOOMRADAR's technology enables users to control their own weather experience. From zooming the radar map all the way down to their house to zooming out and checking the weather across country, we are certain SBS interactive users will come to value and rely on this technology," stated."
