CHADWICK BAY BROADCASTING Country WBKX/DUNKIRK-FREDONIA-JAMESTOWN, NY held its first CLOVER BOWL on SUNDAY, MARCH 18th to benefit the local CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY 4-H CHAPTER, raising thousands of dollars. This year, the chapter has lost all state funding and the station has taken 4-H fundraising on as a year-round cause to help preserve some of the 4-H programs that serve 500 plus local children.
At the events, 100 bowlers competed for trophies and to best the WBKX team’s score. A number of NASHVILLE artists and labels donated items such as autographed guitars, CDs, and signed photos that generated funds through auctions. Country group EVERETT LEE and UNDERGROUND STAMPEDE played throughout the event.
