House Rules Committee Sets Monday Deadline For Amendments To FCC Reform Bill
March 22, 2012 at 5:37 AM (PT)
The House Committee on Rules has set MONDAY (3/26) at 10a (ET) as the deadline for submitting amendments for the FCC Reform Act of 2012.
The bill, H.R. 3309, passed the Committee on Energy & Commerce on MARCH 19th; the amendment deadline signals that the bill could reach the House floor for a vote next week, although the bill, Proposed by Rep. GREG WALDEN (R-OR) and backed by the Republican majority in the House, is unlikely to survive the Democratic-controlled Senate or a Presidential veto.
