ENTERCOM made official late MONDAY the SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE's BEN FONG-TORRES' report that it is buying INNER CITY BROADCASTING's Urban AC KBLX/SAN FRANCISCO is pending to ENTERCOM for $25 million. The sale is separate from the sale of the rest of the INNER CITY stations to YMF MEDIA, the company formed by its creditors, and is pending court approval and is accompanied by an LMA before closing.
ENTERCOM President/CEO DAVID FIELD said, "We could not be more pleased to add KBLX-FM to our SAN FRANCISCO radio line-up. KBLX is the leading urban radio station in the SAN FRANCISCO market and has a long history of producing distinctive and compelling programming. The addition of KBLX strengthens our competitive positioning in SAN FRANCISCO and enhances our ability to provide outstanding content to our listeners and broad audience reach and effective marketing opportunities to our advertisers."
ENTERCOM SAN FRANCISCO VP/Market Manager DWIGHT WALKER added, "KBLX has done a magnificent job of serving the local community and we look forward to continuing to do that at ENTERCOM."

CHURCH PLANTERS OF AMERICA is selling noncommercial Religion KJBB/WATERTOWN, SD to HARVEST COMMUNITY BAPTIST CHURCH OF WATERTOWN SOUTH DAKOTA for $40,000.
EDGEWATER BROADCASTING, INC. is selling FM translator W282AW/OCEAN PINES, MD to BAYSHORE MEDIA, LLC for $20,000. The translator rebroadcasts Talk WQMR-A/OCEAN CITY, MD.
THE CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF ROCKFORD is selling FM translator W286BM/DIXON, IL, W228BZ/GARDEN PRAIRIE, IL, W291BW/SEWARD, IL, and W263BM/STEWARD, IL to AMERICAN EDUCATION FOUNDATION, INC. for $50,000.
The heirs of TRAVIS AYCOCK are redeeming their shares in ACE BROADCASTING, INC., licensee of Southern Gospel WQST-A/FOREST, MS, for a total of $1,000. The redemption by RUBY C. AYCOCK, EVELYN EVANS, JIMMIE GAYLE AYCOCK, SHIELA J. MCCOY, and FREDDY AYCOCK gives the other two partners, HOWARD D. CLARK and JOHN ARTHUR EAVES, 50% each in the company.

CUMULUS LICENSING LLC has closed on the transfer of Urban AC WQQK (92Q)/GOODLETTSVILLE-NASHVILLE, TN into the VOLT RADIO, LLC trust and the removal of Classic Hits WRQQ/BELLE MEADE-NASHVILLE from the trust back to CUMULUS. The move maintains the reduction of the number of signals CUMULUS owns in the NASHVILLE market.
PLYMOUTH BROADCASTING, INC. has closed on the sale of Oldies WZOC (OLDIES 94.3)/PLYMOUTH-SOUTH BEND, IN to DOUGLAS ROAD RADIO, INC. for $2.1 million.

DJR BROADCASTING, LLC (DONALD B. CRAWFORD JR.) has closed on the sale of Adult Standards KCMN-A/COLORADO SPRINGS and Religion KCBR-A/MONUMENT, CO (and K-DREAMS, LLC on the sale of the stations' tower sites) to VIC MICHAEL's KONA COAST RADIO, LLC. for $400,000.
And BETHESDA CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING has closed on the sale of FM translator W286BC/MARQUETTE, MI to GREAT LAKES RADIO, INC. for $25,000.
