FCC Fines Texas Station For Public File Violations

VISION LATINA BROADCASTING has been fined $500 for public file violations at Spanish Religion KBPO-A (RADIO VIDA)/PORT NECHES, TX. The fine was reduced from $25,000 for inability to pay.
The Commission also deleted 18 vacant allotments in various communities in ARKANSAS, GEORGIA, ILLINOIS, LOUISIANA, MISSOURI, MONTANA, OKLAHOMA, TEXAS, and WISCONSIN but declined to delete two others, at HARRISON, MI and TIGERTON, WI.
And the Commission denied KM RADIO OF INDEPENDENCE's application to move its Classic Hits KQMG (BRITE 95.3)/INDEPENDENCE, IA to SOLON, IA.
