PrayerWorks Hits One Million Prayers Prayed

This past week the online prayer tool PRAYERWORKS, developed by NORTHWESTERN MEDIA Contemporary Christian KTIS/MINNEAPOLIS, hit one million prayers prayed since the application's launch in AUGUST 2009.
“Many organizations have a place where people can submit prayer requests. But the encouragement comes from knowing that your request has actually been prayed for – sometimes hundreds of times!” said KTIS Dir./Listener and Community Engagement MORGAN WOOD.
PRAYERWORKS was created to offer a more interactive prayer experience. It provides encouragement through notification that a request has been prayed for and the opportunity to send notes of encouragement. Users can receive notification that their request has been prayed for via email or text message. The tool is also available as an IPHONE app and in a mobile version.
In 2010, PRAYERWORKS was made available for a small subscription fee to organizations around the country. To date, 75 additional radio stations, churches and non-profits have made the tool available to their constituents.
