SBS Mourns Loss of Z93/Puerto Rico Dir./Programming Pedro Arroyo

SPANISH BROADCASTING SYSTEM announced with profound sadness the passing of PEDRO ARROYO, the company's Dir./Programming for its Z93/PUERTO RICO station. ARROYO, who died in PUERTO RICO on SATURDAY APRIL 14th due to respiratory arrest, was 60.
"We are deeply saddened by the passing of PEDRO, who was an integral part of the SBS family for more than 30 years and was instrumental in the formation of both of our stations in PUERTO RICO," said SBS Pres./CEO RAUL ALARCON. "We offer our deepest sympathies to his wife, ANA, their children, and the rest of his family and all the people of PUERTO RICO at this time of great loss. PEDRO was a remarkable and kind individual who left an indelible mark on the company and on all of the people who had the privilege of working with and knowing him. He was a devoted husband and father, a strong and patient leader, a dedicated and talented professional and a deeply involved member of his community. He will be greatly missed both as a long time friend and colleague."
