Sale Of Inner City's WZMJ Proposed In Court Motion

A sale of INNER CITY Sports WZMJ (ESPN RADIO 93.1 FM)/BATESBURG-COLUMBIA, SC to G. MICHAEL WILLIS' LAKE MURRAY COMMUNICATIONS, LLC for $450,000 and assumption of liabilities has been proposed in a motion to U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of NEW YORK.  The deal is separate from the overall deal to sell INNER CITY's stations to creditor-owned YMF MEDIA LLC and is pending court approval.

Meanwhile, the purchase price for BUCKLEY BROADCASTING's sale of Classic Rock KIOO/VISALIA-FRESNO, CA to MOMENTUM BROADCASTING, LP has been disclosed as $450,000 in the paperwork filed with the FCC.

Another purchase price for a previously announced deal is $960,000, the price listed in the contract for GREAT PLAINS INTEGRATED MEDIA/SMAHH COMMUNICATIONS, INC.'s sale of Talk WZFG-A (AM 1100 THE FLAG)/DILWORTH-FARGO, ND to SCOTT HENNEN's BAKKEN BEACON MEDIA, LLC.  HENNEN is also in the process of buying KTGO-A/TIOGA, ND.

In other filings with the Commission, SHOALS BROADCASTING CORP. is selling Sports WYTK (93.9 THE SCORE)/ROGERSVILLE-FLORENCE, AL to GREGORY H. THORNTON's VALLEY BROADCASTING, INC. for $800,000.

RADIO ASSIST MINISTRY, INC. is selling FM translator W274BD/WRIGHTSVILLE, GA to LAURENS COUNTY BROADCASTING COMPANY, INC. for $20,000. 

LILLIE S. JUBERT has applied for a Silent STA for WCSA/RIPLEY, MS due to site acquisition and "interference with (the) project from a competitor and previous employee."

EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION has requested a Silent STA for FM translator W294BM/MIDDLETOWN, OH due to interference with a co-channel station and a proposed move to a new frequency.

JAMES CRYSTAL ENTERPRISES' JCE LICENSES, L.L.C. has closed on the sale of Religion WLVJ-A/BOYNTON BEACH, FL to ACTUALIDAD 1040AM LICENSEE, LLC for $2.3 million.

And RADIO ASSIST MINISTRY, INC. has closed on the sale of FM translator W227CB/ALPENA, MI to NORTHERN LIGHTS ENTERPRISES, INC. for $15,000.
