WXRT Celebrates The '80s On Flashback Weekend

CBS RADIO Triple A WXRT/CHICAGO is about to celebrate "40 Years of XRT" one decade at a time. The first in a series of four monthly XRT 4D Flashback Weekends will be devoted to the 1980s, and will air starting FRIDAY, APRIL 27th, 2012 at 9a and continue for 36 hours to 7p on SUNDAY, APRIL 29th.

On top of playing XRT music from that era, listeners will hear exclusive audio essays contributed by the entire XRT air staff regarding some of the most memorable events of that era, cultural, political, and of course, musical, as well as personal perspectives on the impact the 80's had on their lives.
