GREAT OAKS JOINT VOCATIONAL DISTRICT noncommercial Variety WJVS/CINCINNATI is shutting down operations and turning in its license at the end of this school year, reports the CINCINNATI ENQUIRER's JOHN KIESEWETTER.
The station has a shared-time arrangement with THE REAL STEPCHILD OF CINCINNATI, INC. noncommercial community station WAIF, which is asking the FCC to approve around-the-clock operation on its 88.3 FM frequency. WJVS operates 8a-3p on school days and will end programming on MAY 18th.
