Bridge Ratings Study: Pandora Appeal Wanes Over Time

BRIDGE RATINGS has completed a study on long-term PANDORA listening and it paints a picture that's less rosy than PANDORA would have believe. Among other revelations, the study, called "PANDORA Consumer Satisfaction Over Time," found that 1) the longer a consumer uses PANDORA, the less content they are with it; and 2) over time, PANDORA consumers reduce the number of daily sessions the engage in and the amount of time they spend during each session.
"We don’t see this kind of data from PANDORA because they don’t have access to it," BRIDGE RATINGS Chairman DAVE VAN DYKE said. "The deep secret about PANDORA is that while they have these huge user numbers, there is little public information about the behavior of their consumers; all we have is numbers representing bodies."
