WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY football and men's basketball is moving in the SEATTLE market from BONNEVILLE Talk KTTH-A to sister Sports KIRO-A (710 ESPN)/SEATTLE this season in the second year of a three-year deal between the COUGARS and BONNEVILLE. BOB ROBERTSON will continue as play-by-play voice, with BUD NAMECK moving from sideline reporter to analyst, along with former COUGARS wide receiver SHAWN MCWASHINGTON as analyst and 710 ESPN SEATTLE Producer JESSAMYN MCINTYRE as sideline reporter. Games bumped by schedule conflicts will air on KTTH. WSU football coach MIKE LEACH will appear weekly with KEVIN CALABRO and JIM MOORE in afternoons on 710 ESPN.
"Our first year in partnership with BONNEVILLE provided unprecedented coverage of COUGAR football and men's basketball," said WSU Dir./Athletics BILL MOOS. "To have our games broadcast on 710 ESPN SEATTLE, one of the strongest radio signals in the PACIFIC NORTHWEST, allows COUGAR fans greater access to be part of this exciting time in WSU Athletics."
"We are excited and proud to be able to provide our sports fans with WASHINGTON STATE COUGAR football and basketball play-by-play," said 710 ESPN/SEATTLE VP/GM DAVE PRIDEMORE. "I'm confident our audience will enjoy our expanded coverage of PAC-12 Athletics."
