A women who said former CLEAR CHANNEL Urban WUSL (POWER 99)/PHILADELPHIA morning co-host TARSHA "JONESY" JONES "wrongly identified her as the mother who participated in an attack on a student at her daughter's school has succeeded in having her case remanded to state court," reports COURTHOUSENEWS.COM.
As ALL ACCESS reported last year (NET NEWS 11/28/11), TRACEY PARSON alleges when some young girls from NORTH PHILADELPHIA got into an altercation with some girls from SOUTH PHILADELPHIA, PARSON, who was attending a business meeting in nearby BENSALEM, learned during the meeting that her own daughter had been involved. The mother of a SOUTH PHILLY girl allegedly was in the process of picking up the girls from her neighborhood, when she ran into one of the NORTH PHILLY girls and confronted her.
Later that week JONES discussed the incident on WUSL, invited listeners to call in and claimed that the mother involved was a business owner of a local daycare center. A caller told JONES the mother’s name was TRACEY who owned KIDDIE KARE daycare centers. Later JONES rebuffed a caller who claimed she had her facts wrong. As a result, PARSON claimed this series of incidents caused her to receive death threats, broken windows and a tarnished reputation, so she filed suit.
