New FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai Appoints Top Staff

New FCC Commissioner AJIT PAI has appointed former FCC General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel MATTHEW BERRY as his Chief of Staff, Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau Associate Bureau Chief GENE FULLANO as Acting Legal Advisor, Office of General Counsel Litigation Specialist LORI ALEXIOU as his Confidential Assistant, and House Budget Committee Counsel and Budget Analyst for Rep. PAUL RYAN (R-IN) COURTNEY REINHARD as Legal Advisor.
"I am thrilled that each of these talented individuals has agreed to join my office," said PAI. "Their wide range of experience in the public and private sectors as well as their communications expertise will help me to hit the ground running on the critical issues facing the Commission. I look forward to working with them to promote competition and innovation in the communications marketplace that will benefit consumers and foster economic growth."
PAI and fellow appointee JESSICA ROSENWORCEL will make their first appearance as Commissioners before the Senate Commerce Committee in an oversight hearing on WEDNESDAY (5/16) at 2:30p (ET). All five members of the Commission are scheduled to testify.
