Another attempt to build a new station serving the OMAHA market is underway, reports UPPER MIDWEST BROADCASTING, with VIC MICHAEL's KONA COAST RADIO, LLC applying to move its Silent KIMI/SIDNEY, IA to a tower near PACIFIC JUNCTION with 50,000 watts rimshotting OMAHA.
The FCC previously deleted KGGG/PACIFIC JUNCTION, a station which CONNOISSEUR MEDIA attempted to build, but which was prevented from doing so due to interference complaints from nearby military air fields. KONA COAST's application uses the same 107.7 FM frequency as the ill-fated CONNOISSEUR facility.
