JUNE is recognized as BLACK MUSIC MONTH, and each year ALL ACCESS Urban/UAC Editor JERRY BOULDING whips up some terrific reading in his "URBANIZING" column to celebrate the importance of this yearly event.
BOULDING notes, "During the next four weeks in JUNE, we're going to recognize and examine the music of Urban music industry, provide a soundtrack for the myriad of social and cultural changes of the last several decades. And, we will raise the level of consciousness regarding the many contributions that African-Americans have made to the music business and to society."
For BLACK MUSIC MONTH 2012 Part I, JERRY has assembled a must-read article, "Stretch Your Ears And Your Mind" -- it's available to read now.
And check back next week for "Lost First" and then, two more followups.
