WEAT/West Palm Beach Files To Move Into Miami Market

WEAT Miami-bound

CBS RADIO has filed an application to move AC WEAT-F (SUNNY 104.3)/WEST PALM BEACH, FL south into the MIAMI market with new community of license MIRAMAR as a Class C1 with 100,000 watts at 283 meters above average terrain. 

The move of the station, which CBS is selling to DEAN GOODMAN's PALM BEACH BROADCASTING, is contingent on a change in a pending application by ALEX MEDIA for a new FM at ISLAMORADA in the FLORIDA KEYS to move to another frequency; OCEAN REEF PUBLIC RADIO noncommercial LPFM WORZ-LP/KEY LARGO will be displaced by the move but has consented to the arrangement and will apply to move its transmitter and frequency.
