UMPG Taps John Echevarria As EVP/Latin America

UNIVERSAL MUSIC PUBLISHING GROUP has appointed JOHN ECHEVARRIA as EVP of UMPG/LATIN AMERICA. ECHEVARRIA will oversee all of UMPG's operations throughout LATIN AMERICA as well as its Latin division in the U.S. He will be based at the company's MIAMI offices, replacing EDDIE FERNANDEZ, who has departed the company.
"JOHN's extensive experience in Latin music, both in publishing and recorded music, is extraordinary," commented Chairman/CEO ZACH HOROWITZ. "His insights into the Latin culture and Latin consumer, and his network of contacts throughout the LATIN AMERICAN region, will uniquely position us for great success in the years to come.
