ENTERCOM Talk WRKO-A/BOSTON is bringing back former BOSTON HERALD crime reporter MICHELE MCPHEE to do middays, starting on MONDAY, June 11th. MCPHEE will replace LAURA INGRAHAM and JEN BRIEN, and will also serve as the primary fill-in for HOWIE CARR.
"While I loved breaking stories for Team 5 Investigates and worked alongside some of BOSTON's legendary TV personalities, I missed fighting for the common man in the Commonwealth on WRKO," she said. "So much outrage, so little time. I'm looking forward to engaging in the conversation again."
"This is great day for our brand, our clients, and most importantly our listeners," ENTERCOM/BOSTON VP/GM JEFF BROWN said. "We are excited about this change, excited to have MICHELE back at WRKO and excited to continue our track record of delivering advertiser results."
"It's great to have MICHELE back at WRKO," added VP/Operations JASON WOLFE. "She did a terrific job for us before and I'm very excited about getting her back on the air in this expanded midday role. MICHELE is BOSTON. An outstanding reporter with tremendous credibility, she will provide our listeners with high energy and passion every day,"
