ELVIS DURAN and the Morning Show welcomed a special guest to the show TODAY (6/8) -- their boss, CLEAR CHANNEL CEO BOB PTTMAN, who appeared in studio to fulfill co-host GREG T’s wish to meet him. GREG had some questions for the boss. Here are a few, with PITTMAN's responses:
GREG T: How long is your boat?
PITTMAN: Wait a minute, it’s not a trick question? Is boat a code word for something? We shouldn’t get into that.
GREG T: Do you wear monogrammed underwear?
PITTMAN: I’m taking my pants off here today? (Show crew starts whooping “take it off” as PITTMAN pretends to undo his belt. No monograms on the underwear. Nice JOCKEY shorts from JOCKEY.COM.
GREG T: MAC or PC?
PITTMAN: I have both and I’m trying to make the transition to a MAC… trying to make the transition to an iPHONE, but I can’t type on the touch screen... and by the way, about 500 emails a day, I have to do a lot of typing.
GREG T: Why did MTV stop playing videos?
PITTMAN: That’s an interesting question, isn’t it? The first video we played was “Video Killed the Radio Star” and here it is 31 years later and radio is bigger than ever and MTV doesn’t play music. What’s goin’ on?
