SALT AND LIGHT MEDIA MINISTRIES, INC. has applied to the FCC for an extension of its Silent STA for FM translator W220BE/ST. CLAIR, PA. The station was taken off the air after a lightning strike; the sign-on of the company's full=power WZRG/KULPMONT, PA bumped the translator to a new frequency, which it is asking for more time to build.
RED MOUNTAIN BROADCASTING, LLC is also requesting an extension of a Silent STA, this one for FM translator W262BL/GULF SHORES, AL, while it builds new facilities.
In other filings with the FCC, SUPER RADIO, INC. has closed on the sale of Tejano KAJP/CARRIZO SPRINGS, TX to MBM RADIO DEL RIO LLC for $400,000 plus an LMA before closing, and J.B. SALAZAR has closed on the sale of Regional Mexican KDRX/LAUGHLIN AFB-DEL RIO, TX to MBM as well for $600,000 plus a time brokerage agreement before closing.
