30-year County radio vet PRINCE MAYNE exits DIAL GLOBAL due to a business related layoff and elimination of his position as COUNTRY TODAY/CLASSIC COUNTRY Evening personality. However, MAYNE was retained as an independent voiceover/production talent for DG's PDQ (PRODUCTION DONE QUICKLY) department, a division of TM CREATIVE SERVICES.
MAYNE said, "It’s been a great 12 years I've spent with the network and looking back I'm so thankful to have had the chance to work with so many dedicated professionals over those years, including the early years in AVON, CO and then the folks I worked with in OMAHA at WAITT RADIO NETWORKS -- and most recently the outstanding pro's based in DENVER at what is now DIAL GLOBAL. It's been a great ride! I'm also very happy to be able to continue to provide my voiceover and production services to PDQ and especially to the affiliates that I've been working with for over the past decade."
Mayne says he plans to add voicetracking to the other voiceover services he performs from his home studios based in west-central IOWA.
He said, "Considering I've been doing all my shows and production work for DG from my ranch for the past 6 years, might as well stick with it and expand it to include voicetracking! I just can't wait to get back on the air somewhere soon! I already miss that part of it!"
