Buffalo Bills Sue Cumulus Over 'Incentive Rights Fee'

The BUFFALO BILLS are suing CUMULUS MEDIA and predecessor CITADEL BROADCASTING to collect at least $1 million in rights fees the NFL franchise says it is owed for 2011, reports the BUFFALO NEWS.
The dispute centers on an "incentive rights fee" in the team's contract with CUMULUS Classic Rock WGRF (97 ROCK) and Active Rock WEDG (103.3 THE EDGE)/BUFFALO, an amount equal to half of gross revenues from BILLS-related programming. The BILLS say they have yet to receive the fee or a required independent auditor's report on the revenues.
The BILLS are moving to crosstown ENTERCOM Sports WGR-A/BUFFALO for the 2012 season.
