A Big Week For Kenny Chesney's 'Fishbowl'

Congrats to COLUMBIA/NASHVILLE VP/Promotion NORBERT NIX, National Promotions Dir. RJ MEACHAM and their staff, as KENNY CHESNEY brings it home this week with a big sales of week of 193,000 albums sold, according to NIELSEN SOUNDSCAN, on the new album “Welcome To The Fishbowl.”
The tally was good for #2 on the Top-200 all genre sales chart, and #1 on the Country Sales Chart.
First-week sales of “Fishbowl” top the first-week sales of his last three album releases. "This dramatic increase in sales is a real testament to the strength of his new music, as well as the continued momentum of his career at every level,” said SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE Chairman /CEO GARY OVERTON.
CHESNEY can be seen on ESPN's latest “This is SportsCenter” commercial, where the artist tries to ignore ESPN anchor STEVE LEVY’s attempt to join him at the popular table in the ESPN cafeteria.
And he’ll also take part in NBC’s MACY’s 4th OF JULY FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR, which airs WEDNESDAY, JULY 4th at 9p (ET).
