Kentucky Public Radio Stations Form Network

Public radio stations in KENTUCKY have formed a new group to promote statewide collaboration and advocate for public broadcasting.
The by-laws for the new organization, called the KENTUCKY PUBLIC RADIO NETWORK (KPRN), were approved by public radio general managers at a meeting in LOUISVILLE on June 25th.
The network includes the LOUISVILLE PUBLIC RADIO stations (News/Talk WFPL, Triple A WFPK, Classical WOUL) as well as New/Music WEKU/RICHMOND, News/Music WKMS, MURRAY, Triple A WUKY/LEXINGTON, News WKYU/BOWLING GREEN, Americana WMKY/MOREHEAD and Triple A WNKU/HIGHLAND HEIGHTS.
The first slate of officers for the KPRN will be DONOVAN REYNOLDS (LPM), chair of the board; ROGER DUVALL (WEKU), vice-chair; KATE LOCHTE (WKMS), secretary; and TOM GODELL (WUKY), treasurer.
