Here's the ultimate KISS collectible. The legendary hard rockers unveiled a coffee table book -- that's about the size of a coffee table, CBS NEWS reports. The new retrospective book, "KISS Monster," stands three feet tall and retails for $4,299.
At a LONDON press conference, GENE SIMMONS, PAUL STANLEY, TOMMY THAYER and ERIC SINGER explained that the limited edition tome -- only 1,000 hand-bound copies will be printed, features unseen photographs from the band's 40-year career. Each one will be signed by the band members.
"A band that is bigger than life deserves a book that's bigger than life," STANLEY declared. "You could call it a coffee table book, but if you put legs on it, it is a coffee table,"
"It's not a cheap book because it is hand bound, hand put together," SIMMONS added. "It's the Rolls-Royce of books," said SIMMONS.
"KISS Monster" is already on sale in the U.K.
