RADIO ONE has added an online community for historically black college students (HBCU) through an exclusive partnership with LEE MOSS MEDIA and their interactive division. All advertising sales for both HBCUConnect.com and BLACKNEWS.com will be managed by INTERACTIVE ONE STUDIOS.
Under the agreement that went into effect JULY 1st, HBCUConnect.com will join with BlackPlanetNext.com in INTERACTIVE ONE’s social media offerings. BlackNews.com will become the latest addition to INTERACTIVE ONE’s news offerings to advertisers, to include NewsOne.com and TheGrio.com. INTERACTIVE ONE STUDIOS is the company’s business unit that offers product, technology, content, advertising sales and marketing services to digital publishers.
“Adding BlackNews.com and HBCU.com to our roster is another signal of our commitment to provide advertisers with unparalleled opportunities for creating authentic connections with the African-American audience,” said INTERACTIVE ONE Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) KEITH BOWEN.
