FAITH BROADCASTING Contemporary Christian WLBF/MONTGOMERY, AL recently held its "6TH ANNUAL FAMILY FAITH NIGHT" to a nearly sold-out crowd of 7,000 at RIVERWALK STADIUM.
The night included a concert by CURB RECORDS artist NO OTHER NAME prior to the MONTGOMERY BISCUITS baseball game. A record number of church groups (85), representing over 3,000 people, were in attendance.
“This is one of our favorite events of the summer,” said WLBF's Dir./Ministry Relations BILLY IRVIN. “It's a great opportunity for our ministry to connect and fellowship with the community, and provide spiritual encouragement to our friends from different churches and let the community know about our 28-year-old Christ-centered non-profit radio ministry.”
There was much activity surrounding the baseball game. In addition to the pre-game concert, "FAMILY FAITH NIGHT" included on-field recognition of area pastors, Bible trivia throughout the game, and on-field games by church group participants between innings. FAITH RADIO's on-air personalities provided video on the big screen at RIVERWALK STADIUM that promoted their listener supported ministry. The event ended with a win for the home team and a spectacular firework show after the game.
