Country Hall To Salute The King

The COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM in NASHVILLE will salute ELVIS PRESLEY, as they present ‘CELEBRATE THE KING,’ for the 35th Anniversary of PRESLEY’S death.
On AUGUST 11th, “Songs Fit for a King: Top Songwriters Remember ELVIS,” will begin at 1:30p (CT) in the MUSEUM’S FORD THEATRE. Songwriters JERRY CHESTNUTT, MAC DAVIS, BILLY SWAN, and DALLAS FRAZIER will tell stories about their songs that ELVIS recorded. PRESLEY’s producer for many of his ‘comeback’ tracks, CHIPS MOMAN will also sit in for an interview. And there will be many more events.
