FCC Proposes Fines Against Former Licensee Of Mississippi Combo, Puerto Rico Tower Owner

The FCC has proposed a $15,000 fine against DEBUT BROADCASTING MISSISSIPPI, INC,, former licensee of AC WLTM (LITE 97.9) and Talk (formerly Classic Country) WNIX-A/GREENVILLE, MS, for EAS and power violations at the stations. The station was caught allegedly failing to power down WNIX at night and without operational EAS equipment or logs.
The Commission also proposed a $20,000 fine on RENACER BROADCASTERS CORPORATION for rower lighting and painting violations at a tower in MARICAO, PR.
