The company that changed the music business with its iTUNES store is now the world's most valuable company, ever. THE NEW YORK POST reports, "On MONDAY, its surging stock propelled the company's value to $623 billion, beating the record for market capitalization set by MICROSOFT CORP. in the heady days of the Internet boom."
APPLE is worth 53% more than the second most valuable company, EXXON MOBIL.
APPLE stock closed at 665.15 YESTERDAY (8/20), up 17.04 (2.63%).
