UK's GCap To Launch Overnight Game Show

The UK's GCAP MEDIA plans to launch an overnight weekend game show on its ONE network stations that will air without commercials, making money instead from charging listeners 75p per minute to call in and play. "CASH CALL," hosted by CAPITAL RADIO/LONDON's CHRIS BROOKS and produced by OPTIMISTIC MEDIA and SOMETHIN' ELSE, will air early SUNDAYs Midnight-2a starting in the coming weeks.
The program is a similar concept to another show, "THE BIG QUIZ WITH GARY KING," that airs weeknights 7-8p on FM Talker LBC/LONDON and has would-be contestants paying 40p to call in and answer a question, with some contestants called back to play a "lightning round" ("A Minute To Win It") for prizes.
