2nd Annual 'College Radio Day' Is Tuesday, October 2nd

On TUESDAY, OCTOBER 2nd over 550 college and high school radio stations spanning 28 countries will take part in a 24-Hour Global Marathon -- "College Radio Day."
COLDPLAY's CHRIS MARTIN will officially launch the day with a specially recorded message of support for the unique mission of college radio. 28 countries are participating this year and hundreds of thousands of listeners are expected to tune in and hear creative and independent radio programming Some of the stations are calling it, "The Day College Radio Comes Together" to celebrate the medium worldwide.
The second annual College Radio Day was conceived by Professor ROB QUICKE (GM at WPSC/WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY). CRD is open to all college and high school radio stations at no cost.
