Mumford & Sons 'Babel' Crowned 'Best Selling Album Of 2012'

GLASSNOTE recording artists MUMFORD & SONS now have the "Best Selling Album of 2012" so far as their new album "Babel" sells 600,000 in the first week, making it the biggest selling debut of the year according to the NEILSEN SOUNDSCAN sales charts.
This marks the biggest debut week in album sales since the release of DRAKE's "Take Care" in NOVEMBER 2011 with 630,000 in sales.
"Babel" also had some big help from streaming service SPOTIFY where it was streamed 8 million times during the past week making it the "Most Streamed In A Week," three times more than the album that previously held that title.
MUMFORD & SONS new single "I Will Wait" is also on fire achieving #1 at Alternative and is currently holding the #1 spot at AAA for the sixth week in a row!
