WFUV Strikes a Chord For After-School Programs

FORDHAM UNIVERSITY Triple A WFUV/NEW YORK is planning a series of special reports on after-school programs via their award-winning Strike A Chord series. In addition to PSAs spotlighting not-for-profit after-school programs running from now through NOVEMBER 11th, there will be a series of news features the week of OCTOBER 29th, culminating in public affairs programs on NOVEMBER 3rd.
Strike a Chord is a public service campaign designed to bring attention to vital community-related issues in NEW YORK CITY and across the region every season. Each quarter, the station explores subjects ranging from the environment to veterans affairs and affordable housing to music education with on-air public service announcements, news stories and features.
