The “RUMBLE FROM THE ROW,” is returning, FRIDAY, MARCH 8th at LIBERTY HALL in FRANKLIN, TN. The charity boxing match has become a popular MUSIC ROW charity event, pitting record company executives against each other in boxing matches. Proceeds benefit the CHARLEY FOUNDATION.
Squaring off will be “RUMBLE” Champion, RCA NASHVILLE VP/Promotion, KEITH GALE, who will be taking on BIGGER PICTURE GROUP Director Of National Promotion, EJ BERNAS. In another bout, CAPITOL NASHVILLE’s JIMMY RECTOR, another former “RUMBLE” belt holder, will go against MERCURY NASHVILLE VP/Promotion, DAMON MOBERLY.
SHOW DOG – UNIVERSAL MUSIC VP/Promotion, TOM BALDRICA, will return as ring announcer.
“I was flattered to be asked to participate in ‘RUMBLE ON THE ROW’ again this year,” said GALE. “The CHARLEY FOUNDATION does amazing work and it’s a spectacular event. I’ll be facing a tough and determined opponent in EJ who is working very hard to prepare. I’ll have to be at my best to try to keep up with him. People are in for a great show.”
When asked about the fight, EJ BERNAS referred to his alter ego KID BUFFALO. “I was a big BUTTER BEAN fan when most people laughed and scoffed at the ROUND BOXER. The training and preparation for the bout has unleashed KID BUFFALO. KID BUFFALO is working hard, KID BUFFALO jumps rope, KID BUFFALO eats right, KID BUFFALO is a caged animal. On MARCH 8th, KID BUFFALO will be ready to defend and represent the city of BUFFALO, NY. KID BUFFALO must now go train! I'm fighting the CHAMP, he is lean and mean, KID BUFFALO will be ready,” he said.
"RUMBLE" veteran RECTOR added, “I am excited to help out the CHARLEY FOUNDATION again this year. The previous two times I participated in this great event, I had the time of my life. I can’t wait to climb back into the ring again and introduce DAMON to the impact this event can have.”
“These gents are all champions in my book,” said CHARLEY FOUNDATION Founder and Chairman CAROLYN MILLER. “Their involvement, including the time and dedication required for the rigorous physical training, will directly make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of local children, their families, and their communities.”
Table sponsorships for the “RUMBLE,” are available and individual tickets are $250 each. For info visit www.charleyfoundation.org or contact CAROLYN MILLER at (615) 297-3099 x103.
